Guests enjoyed an afternoon tea at the Courtyard Marquee in Hotel Conrad on Tuesday September 30.  

The theme of Blitz this year is the Swingin’ Sixties and Conrad Treasury’s band has chosen a 1960’s Classic Las Vegas theme, including songs by the Beach Boys and Tom Jones. 

Special guests to the afternoon event included Cerebral Palsy League of Queensland CEO, Angela Tillmanns, Conrad Treasury Managing Director, Geoff Hogg and clients from the CPLQ.

Managing Director, Geoff Hogg said Conrad Treasury is very excited to be involved in Boardroom Blitz for the sixth consecutive year and the afternoon tea event was a great opportunity for team members to meet the clients of the Cerebral Palsy League and also support their fellow team members performing in the band.  

“It’s not often you get to see the faces of the people you are helping out by being involved in events such as Boardroom Blitz. 

“We organised the afternoon tea and invited along the people who will really benefit from Boardroom Blitz, to be entertained by our band and meet some of our team members. 

“It’s a great opportunity for our team members to meet these people and get an idea of what this event is really about and who they are supporting,” Mr Hogg said.  

The Conrad Treasury Boardroom Blitz is a one-of-a-kind, rock charity event, showcasing the hidden musical talent of Brisbane’s corporate world.  

Blitz will be held on Saturday October 11 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, raising money for the Cerebral Palsy League of Queensland.
